Members can use the CUNY Academic Commons to establish an online presence. We provide an assortment of widgets to help design attractive CVs to list academic interests, publications, positions, and educational background.
With our free web hosting, members can create as many WordPress websites as they want. We support domain mapping and non-standard customizations for our hosting partners. Our selection of WordPress themes and plugins continues to grow, and we respond quickly to requests to expand WordPress’ core functionality.
With our growing list of collaborative tools, members find a number of ways to use the Commons, including:
- Personal Websites (or Blogs)
- Conference/Events
- LMS for Graduate Classes
- Publications
- Initiatives
- Research
- Departments/Committees
We hope you explore these pages to see live use cases, as well as suggestions about which tools work best for each category. If you would like us to showcase the ways you use the Commons, let us know. We are excited to see what you are building!
